Hornet Allison Rubin now
Dover HS teacher and coach

Former Delaware State Hornet Allison Rubin (2011 DSU graduate) of Glen Burnie, MD, set in her player bio the career goals of becoming “a teacher and softball coach” and that is just what she has done without ever leaving the Dover, DE area.

Across town from the Hornets Nest softball complex, where she played 2008- 2011, she is today an ILC teacher at Dover High School as well as the school's softball Assistant Varsity Coach.

Allison says she “loves softball!” In photos below, she is shown putting in extra time working with high school students' batting skills just this past Sunday afternoon. The bottom center photo is Allison swiping bases in her playing days.
