DSU Hornets this weekend
The DSU Hornets take on the Hampton University Pirates today (Friday) in the team's MEAC opener. The first contest is at 2 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The Hornets have lost their last eight games, while the Pirates (16-18, 3-0 MEAC) have won five straight games. Hampton is 42-29 all-time against Delaware State, but the Hornets have won five of the last six meetings between the two teams.
